What kind of app would it be, if it was like the forum I don't really think there is much point. In fact it's probably not going to be anything else.

Like I said I don't see it going any where
But we could have the map, forums, the names of staff, shop for the runecraft credits or the money on the server, rules, and commands in the app

A App is a good idea but how would u get it out there to get people to know also , A free make your own app program probably won't work very well.
