Need some help.

'lo. Can't log-in on minecraft. It says I can't connect to Minecraft.net whenever I try.
Also that's why I've been inactive.

Try deleting and re downloading minecraft that usually fixes the problems with mine hope this helped

Didn't work.

It says now when I open the launcher and try to login "Connection to minecraft.net failed (Not Downloaded)."

did you delete minecraft completely the first time or are you clicking the shortcut to the file you just deleted?

RKay this is what you do:
(This only works on Windows)

1. hit the Windows key and r at the same time
2. Window should pop; in there type, "%appdata%
3. There should be a file named .minecraft
4. Delete the whole file
5. Go to www.minecraft.net and redownload Minecraft
6. Login with your Minecraft account now to check

If this does not work, ask me.

Make sure your username and password are correct that just happened to me, because me password was wrong

Or maybe at the login screen click "options" then "force update" it will then say "will force" and then click done then login

Tried force update before deleting, Tried re-typing password and Kry, that's exactly what I did and it still says it's not downloaded.

Did you check if your JAVA was updated? Minecraft runs off JAVA.

Is your internet screwed?

Has anybody else tried logging into Minecraft on your computer? Has that worked?

Maybe ask somebody else to help, cause right now I am lost on this.

if java was not up to date then the minecraft launcher would not show up and give him an error msg saying that he needs to update java

Have you made sure your .minecraft file is there?

Did you delete the .minecraft file by accident? Double check if it is there. If it is there, check to make sure all the files are in there.

You haven't been on the server for such a long time man! We've missed you. Just today, pieguy was asked where Ozone is.

Without you, Runecraft is not whole. I know you are having problems with your Minecraft, but you've got to get on the server sometime. Hopefully you haven't forgotten about us.

I'd love to get on server too. I've got a few ideas for buildings and I haven't been getting much luck on the old Steam games lately. Here's Exactly what I have done.
1. Couldn't log in to minecraft.net (the error message was this)
2. Tried forcing update.
3. Tried retyping password & username.
4. Posted on forums.
5. Deleted me .minecraft files and went to minecraft.net
6. Hit the download button for windows version. (It downloaded the launcher, not any files. :/)
7. Couldn't log in to minecraft.net (the error message was this)
8. Came back to forums.
